If you ever wondered where schoolbuses go to die, wonder no more. The answer is Panama. They get repainted with fanciful custom paint jobs, and become the public transit busses of the country. I meant to get some good shots of some of them that were done up so ornately, but I failed to do so. You'll have to settle for this small glimpse of some parked in a lot. Most of the busses you can't even see the original yellow on.

The following were taken out on the Amador causeway, a road linking four small islands in the bay to the mainland. There was a nice resturant there that I had lunch at. You could rent bikes from a shop nearby, including these recumbent-style ones I took pictures of.

Views of Panama City across the bay, some boats, and the Bridge of the Americas.

During WWII, the islands were a US Army territory, where the US government tunnelled inside the island of Amador to make a high security storage area. To this day, it's not known what was so important they had to hide there.

Now a days, it's a shopping mall.
